End-to-end Loan Management Technology

Installation

Selling Source pioneered the adoption of Project Management Office — or PMO — methods in the specialty finance industry. Based on Project Management Institute and Six Sigma methodology, Selling Source’s world-class PMO organizational structure ensures that onsite and offsite installation, technical support and customer service are seamlessly integrated into day-to-day lender operations with minimal disruption.

Selling Source’s PMO process consists of six phases: discovery, definition, design, development, deployment and decommission.

In the discovery phase, PMO team members learn the lender’s business requirements, identify goals and assess the existing platform.

In the next phases, project managers determine business rules, define lead strategy and begin a formal project launch.

Creative design and queue workflow development are next. This design stage also includes development of event-triggered communications via Selling Source’s proprietary COMMSource technology. Selling Source also custom designs each lender’s customer-facing documents and user manuals.

In the development phase, queue workflow is established, action items and issues-resolution begin and status reports keep everyone on the same page. Quality assurance in a “sandbox” environment takes place and user acceptance is tested.

Once deployment is underway, computer code can be “frozen,” final acceptance testing can take place and training begins. When the system goes “live,” monitoring and reporting begin. Selling Source provides technical support as needed for each client.

Finally, in the decommission phase, regression testing takes place to uncover and fix bugs, phase 2 planning begins, as does handoff support. Then project documents are finalized and ramp up to full volume starts.

Selling Source’s highly skilled PMO professionals employ these proven techniques and processes to get the job done right. The Selling Source PMO Motto: “We don’t succeed unless you succeed.”
